ENTERING CALUCLATED RESULTS
Some questions allow you to type expressions instead of decimal numbers. Then WAMAP does the calculation for you.

If you enter a decimal value, be sure to give at least 4 decimal places, but depending on the question your answer may need to be an expression.

Here are some common examples of mathematical expressions you may need to enter in WAMAP:

sqrt(4)	$\displaystyle \sqrt{{{4}}}$ = 2
2/(5-3)	$\displaystyle \frac{{2}}{{{5}-{3}}}$ = 1
3^2	$\displaystyle {3}^{{2}}$ = 9
