The Power Rule

Please watch one of both videos to understand the Power Rule.

 (xn)m=xnm\displaystyle {\left({x}^{{n}}\right)}^{{m}}={x}^{{{n}{m}}}

To simplify the power of an exponential expression raised to a power, write the base once. The new exponent is the product of the exponents (multiply them together).

Complete this statement of the Power Rule:
(yc)d=\displaystyle {\left({y}^{{c}}\right)}^{{d}}=

Simplify the expression completely.
(v5)3\displaystyle {\left({v}^{{5}}\right)}^{{3}} =

Simplify this expression.
(35)2\displaystyle {\left({3}^{{5}}\right)}^{{2}} =

Compare the above expression using the power rule to the product rule for the expression below.
Simplify. 3532\displaystyle {3}^{{5}}\cdot{3}^{{2}} =
