If you use the linear approximation for the function $\displaystyle {f{{\left({x}\right)}}}=\sqrt{{{9}+{x}^{{2}}}}$ at $\displaystyle {x}={0}$  to approximate $\displaystyle \sqrt{{{10}}}$ and $\displaystyle \sqrt{{{13}}}$ you get the same answers.
